To find out more about us, please visit About the role: In this key role, you will be responsible for providing financial and administrative services to the Finance Manager to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations.Some of your key accountabilities will be to
- Ensure bank reconciliations are completed on a daily/weekly basis
- Record intercompany transactions in a timely manner and confirm balances monthly.
- Assisting with month-end accruals, including commission tracking/calculations.
- Issue receipts for the admission team and invoicing the students daily and other customers as required, in a timely manner.
- Support the Finance Manager with maintenance of the fixed assets register on a monthly basis
- Liaise with the Accounts Payable team to ensure all data entry and recording of invoices, accruals, receipts and payments are done in timely and accurate manner
- Prepare payment batches ensuring all suppliers are paid within terms for authorised invoices, but limiting payment runs to once per week and 20th of the month
- To complete required reports and ensure we are compliant with accreditation authorities and tax departments.
- Handle general accounts queries pertaining to any of the responsibilities above from members within finance and other functions.
- Review business processes and continually strive for excellence and look at opportunities to improve.

- Intermediate Excel skills at the very minimum
