- You have studied Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- You have more than 5 years' experience in mechanical discipline in power plant engineering projects, preferably hydropower plants. Candidates with experience in other power generation plants (combined cycle, cogeneration, biomass, solar thermal...) Desalination plants or Oil&Gas plants will be considered.
- Ability to work as part of a team and technical rigour.
- Autonomy and innovative mentality.
- Advanced English.

- Definition/sizing of mechanical BOP systems (cooling system, compressed air system, drainage system, de-airing dewatering system, FF, HVAC, lifting devices, etc.). Definition of P&IDs, system sizing calculations, preparation of system functional descriptions, preparation of equipment lists, line lists, etc.
- Preparation of technical specifications for mechanical equipment. Technical bid evaluations, including clarifications during the tendering process.
- Follow-up and review of vendor's documentation for the equipment.
- Coordination of the 3D design of the Mechanical discipline.
- Responsible for the Mechanical discipline of projects. Reporting to Project Management, coordination of the project's team of mechanical engineers, ensuring the technical level of deliverables, compliance with deadlines and optimised use of resources.
- Internal liaison with the other disciplines (Civil, Electricity, I&C) and external liaison with the client and vendors.
