For more information, visit About the Job The Finance Project Manager is responsible for implementing OneStream software for global consolidation and reporting. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of OneStream accounting consolidation software to achieve the stated objectives of the project.
  • Oversee the preparation that Finance teams need to execute to be ready for the software implementation, and tracking the execution of all these activities in Gantt chart
  • Validate the progress of the project, monitor the milestones, and manage internal teams and the implementer’s progress towards completion of the project.
  • Partnering IT team effectively and closely to ensure IT enables the ERPs to provide the necessary data submissions to OneStream software to faciliate achievement of each of the key milestones of the project.
  • Work with business leaders and accounting groups across the globe to appreciate their requirements are well understood, their expectations are managed, and able to leverage the software functionalities and capabilities to deliver the required reporting and analysis, within the stipulated timelines.
  • Ensure Evident group has the best consolidation practices to facilitate efficient and effective monthly statutory and management reporting.
  • Be aware of risks impacting the project, and manage the operational governance and risks identified, and communicate effectively to management on a timely basis. Undertakes the necessary corrective actions when significant risks impacting the success of the project surfaces.
Formal Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPAs, CA, Bachelor in Science/Business, majoring in Accounting
Key Skills / Core Competencies
  • Deep understanding of accounting rules surrounding consolidation, statutory reporting and management reporting.
  • Be able to analyse and recommend best practices for accounting and management consolidation, with full understanding of reporting requirements of each group of users.
  • Working level understanding of functionalities of accounting software, and its ability to fast track and perform statutory accounting and management consolidation with one source of truth.
  • Good IT working level knowledge, and understand the collaborative effort required with IT to facilitate and enable the implementation of the OneStream software
  • Has the necessary skill sets to execute the required business process transformation, and has change management skills.
  • Cross cultural communications – ability to successfully foster a collaborative work environment across borders and with different cultures
  • Risk Management – full understanding of the project risks surround the implementation, and has the ability to track and manage/mitigate risks to the success of the project.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and decision-making skills
  • The ability to work and communicate effectively with every level of the organization
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience
  • 8-10 years with CPA firms, reaching Manager/Senior Manager level with strong accounting technical foundation.
  • Experience performing accounting consolidation of multinational companies
  • Prior work experience with consolidation software, e.g. OneStream, Tagetek, HFM/HPL. 2-3 years collaborating with IT, and implemented at least one IT project for benefits of Finance function
  • Business process transformation and possess change management skills
  • Great communication skills, with cross functional leadership ability to work with Manufacturing, Operations and Sales team members across different job levels
