Overview : As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the back office stock monitoring and order fulfillment team. Your role will involve managing inventory processes, coordinating with external stakeholders such as suppliers and logistics partners, and providing support to ensure efficient stock management and order fulfillment. This position offers an opportunity to utilize your organizational skills and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Supervision: · Provide leadership and guidance to the back office stock monitoring and order fulfillment team. · Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team operates efficiently to meet daily objectives. · Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. Inventory Management: · Oversee the inventory management process, including receiving, storing, and distributing stock. · Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to replenish inventory as needed. · Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in inventory records and identify areas for improvement. Order Fulfillment Coordination: · Coordinate with the order fulfillment team to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders. · Monitor order status and address any issues or delays to ensure customer satisfaction. · Collaborate with other departments, such as shipping and customer service, to streamline order fulfillment processes. Supplier and Vendor Coordination: · Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including suppliers and vendors. · Communicate with suppliers to track order status, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of stock. · Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to optimize inventory costs and efficiency. Process Improvement: · Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. · Streamline inventory management processes to reduce waste and minimize stock shortages. · Implement best practices and standard operating procedures for inventory operations. Reporting and Analysis: · Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and order fulfillment metrics. · Analyze data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions. · Present findings to management and make recommendations for improvement. Qualifications and Skills: · Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. · Previous experience in inventory management, logistics, or related field preferred. · Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. · Proficiency in inventory management software/systems and Microsoft Office suite. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. · Basic understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
