Key Roles & Responsibilities This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who can:

  • Support the implementation of strategic growth initiatives
  • Support APAC Business Management leadership to drive strategic client engagement planning around key sales initiatives
  • Help drive external research on market share, competitor business trends and engage with key external partners and contacts to bring insights back into PIMCO
  • Focus on servicing strategic partners, sharing of best practices to servicing; mentor other Account Associates
  • Co-lead the annual budget process and other business management processes
  • Co-lead coordination of management on-sites, bi-annual staff meetings, quarterly APAC leadership meetings and monthly CF leadership huddles
  • Support technology implementation and rollouts
  • Ensure the implementation of training programmes for incoming Analyst and Associates on PIMCO systems, firm structure, internal processes, and fixed income fundamentals
  • Partner with internal teams to coordinate and deliver training sessions
Qualifications
  • Possesses an excellent attitude: positive "can-do" and strong teamwork
  • Robust knowledge on macroeconomics, fixed income and derivative instruments is essential
  • Self-motivated.

Education
  • Must possess at least an Undergraduate Degree in Finance/Business, Economics or a related field; demonstrate an interest in progressing toward a CFA.
Languages
  • Fluency in English.
Experience
  • Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in financial services, asset management, investment banking or accounting. A strong background and/or interest in fixed income and economics is important. Ideal candidates are familiar with fixed income instruments and the economic underpinnings of the fixed income asset class (such as fixed income markets and macroeconomics, currency and derivative instruments)
