Assistant Manager BI

Creating, enhancing and maintaining Framework Manager models to support business requirementsDeveloping and implementing plans for improving business intelligence in AICL.Design, develop, test and maintain Cognos dashboard, scorecard, reports and queries based on the user requirementsDevelop, support and monitoring the Data Warehouse using Extract, Transform and Load (ETL).Working with power users of the reporting tool to advice on best practices for the best use of BI.Managing the reporting to ensure that scheduled jobs are successfully run and analytics data aligns to timeliness / completeness requirements.Working on databases uses for reporting are tuned for optimal performance.Write efficient SQL and store procedures against database tables on various platforms for data validation. Profile and analyze data during the Report development.Install, upgrade, configure, and administer BI products/patches/upgrades to the environmentJob Specification3+ years related experienceProficiency with Cognos BI product suite (Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, etc.)Proficiency with Oracle Report Builder.Performance tuning experience related to reporting queries requiredUnderstanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structuresExcellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments that includes internal, external and customer teamsRequires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilitiesProgramming/scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle is preferredBA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferable. Equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered
