Pathplanning & Controls Research Engineer

Hiring specifications Job Purpose: As a Path planning & Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing path planning algorithms for autonomous robots. You will work on designing efficient and safe paths for autonomous robots to navigate in various environments. This role requires strong technical skills in robotics, pathplanning algorithms, and software developmentRole Expectations: Design and implement path planning algorithms for autonomous robots, including algorithms for obstacle avoidance and motion planning.Develop software for real-time processing of sensor data, including cameras, LIDAR, and other sensors.Collaborate with other engineers to integrate path planning algorithms into larger robotic systems.Conduct experiments to evaluate and improve the performance of path planning algorithms.Stay up to date with the latest research in robotics and path planning, and apply new techniques to improve system performance.Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers, providing technical guidance and supportReporting Structure: Role will report into Technical leadII. PEOPLE SPECIFICATIONS Profile: Ideally ~PhD.
