Job Title: Fundraising Manager (for a 50 year old School)Department: Corporate RelationsReports to: BoardJob Overview: The Fundraising Manager will lead the school's fundraising efforts, developing and executing strategies to meet and exceed fundraising targets. This role requires a dynamic individual who can innovate and adapt to the evolving needs of the school, aligning fundraising activities with the school's mission and values.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy in alignment with the school's mission and goals.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of fundraising professionals, setting clear targets and monitoring performance.Major Donor Engagement: Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with major donors, including alumni, corporations, and philanthropists.Campaign Management: Lead major fundraising campaigns, overseeing planning, execution, and evaluation.Partnership Development: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with external organizations to support fundraising goals.Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate reporting of fundraising activities and compliance with legal and ethical fundraising standards.Community Engagement: Act as a key ambassador for the school, enhancing its visibility and reputation in the community.Qualifications:Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Non-Profit Management, or related field.Significant experience in fundraising, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting.Proven track record of meeting and exceeding fundraising targets.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong network in the fundraising community.Desired Skills:Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.Strategic thinking and innovative approach to fundraising.Familiarity with digital fundraising tools and CRM systems.Working Conditions:Office setting, with regular travel for meetings and events.Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed for events and donor meetings.Salary Range:INR 8 - 14 Lacs PRB
