We are looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst to join our Information Security team onsite at our Bangalore office—with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule in the future—reporting to the senior manager of Security Operations. In this role, you will work at a lead level, proactively identifying and tracking the remediation of security vulnerabilities along with Infoblox's Security Operations team. You will routinely interact with Security Operations Center (SOC) team members, architects, and other business leaders and decision makers. Your ability to lead and influence will be relied on as you identify solutions and make recommendations to primary stakeholders. This is a global position, which will work with the U.S.-based Security Operations team.You are the ideal candidate if you enjoy developing and improving processes, operating independently but also collaboratively, and continually learning new things. You are a self-starter, highly motivated, and able to handle competing priorities. You are also an expert in building strong matrixed teams through remote collaboration. What you'll do:Monitor and act on cybersecurity alerts affecting the corporate infrastructureCreate metrics and assist the SOC manager as a technical lead in one or more areasParticipate in Incident Response events as they occurParticipate in and/or lead threat hunting exercisesParticipate in Purple teaming eventsContribute to documenting and managing technical risks in the IT Risk RegisterCreate and improve security documentation, including process documents, run books, proposals, etcPresent and communicate to both technical and non-technical audiencesInteract with multiple teams across the organizationMentor junior staff members What you'll bring:8 years of experience with multiple technology solutions, such as SIEM, EDR, NDR, and ASM, and a wide array of cybersecurity disciplinesKnowledge of at least one industry regulatory framework or commercial security standard, such as NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, SOC2, or ISO 27001Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals, groups, and management levelsSuperior project management and time management skillsEnjoyment of a fast-paced environment and the ability to work well under pressureOutstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities when faced with complex challengesExcellent verbal communication and writing skills and experience creating documentation, including using Visio, Signavio or LucidCharts to capture process flows in readable diagramsBachelor's degree in engineering, information science, data science or equivalentPreferred cybersecurity certifications: CISSP, GIAC certifications such as GMON, GSOC, and GCIH, CompTIA Security+, etc.What success looks like:After six months, you will…Understand the structure of Infoblox business units and critical applications and infrastructure which must be protectedIndependently lead the SOC in the manager's absenceHave operational knowledge of 3-4 monitoring applications used by Security OperationsAfter about a year, you will…Have operational knowledge of all applications used by Security Operations, with in-depth knowledge of two or more applicationsDevelop KPIs to validate the success of the Security Operations programProvide leadership and mentoring to junior staffWe've got you covered: Our holistic benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness—as well as a great work environment, employee programs, and company culture.
