Join our Financial systems team as an Enterprise Resource and Planning (ERP) analyst where you will optimize the ERP system to meet organizational needs, enhance overall operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement. You will work closely with the financial systems U.S team to streamline processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the successful integration of ERP Cloud with other applications, with a primary focus on the general ledger module.The role will be able to understand business requirements to determine the best options for implementing solutions within the SaaS environment to meet the users goal. This role will be split between production support, leading projects and enhancements.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Hands on experience with General ledger allocations, ability to create and maintain complex allocation rules is a must.Understanding of functional flows - subledgers to general ledger, period-end, reconciliations.Assist in key system processes (i.e. process of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes).Support month end activities such as metadata push to ERP, cross validation rules, revaluations, Open/close periods and audit reporting.Drive best practices for the Oracle ERP modules to be audit and SOX compliant.Responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by verifying, translating, consolidating, and entering transactions.Identifies opportunities for improvement in operational performance and notifies management of issues and problems requiring immediate attention.Provides support for multiple projects simultaneously, establishes timelines, coordinates with internal resources accordingly.Experience with historical data and financial data reconciliation, ability to devise a comprehensive historical data conversion strategy, manage mappings of legacy systems, and facilitate financial data reconciliation efforts between legacy systems and Oracle.Understanding of audit processes, internal control frameworks, US regulatory reporting requirements, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance standards.Ability to find best finance practices in context of Oracle technologies like EBS/fusion should have commanding knowledge over oracle cloud out of box offerings and ability to implement various functionalities as per business requirements.Ability to configure the application, write reports, understand the interdependency of data within the application.Provide customer service by exhibiting excellent communication skills, ownership and accountability expedient response to inquiries.Defines and executes test scripts and test scenarios.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.1-2 full life cycle implementations of Oracle Cloud Financials SaaS as a Functional Analyst configuring, testing and supporting the financial applications (General Ledger) and integrations.Held a position within the transactional accounting area of an organization or had a support role supporting Oracle general ledger Cloud Financials.Perform analysis of business requirements to determine appropriate solution approach.Strong troubleshooting skills to identify root cause of issue along with resolution.Adhere to processes, templates and department guidelines to deliver high quality products.Is fluent and strictly follows the processes necessary to comply with audit requirements.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES:Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Proven ability to work in teams and balance competing priorities, often with considerable time constraints.Strong listening,communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Familiarity with systems integration security, user provisioning, and single sign-on technologies.Self-motivated and proactive with excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and team/collaboration skills that enable you to be successful both working independently with minimal supervision while ensuring your team maintains visibility and connection to the big picture.Prior experience with reporting and data extraction tools e.g., Smartview.Clear and effective writing and documentation skills.Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
