Company Description www.qbizznow.info Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Geographic Information System Expert located in Guwahati. As a Geographic Information System Expert, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geographic information in order to create maps and databases. You will also work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement GIS solutions to support various projects and initiatives with Arc GiS and Open Source. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Geography, Geomatics, GIS, or a related fieldProficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or MapInfoStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of cartographic principles and spatial analysis techniquesExperience with data collection, management, and manipulationAbility to interpret and analyze spatial dataExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentExperience with programming languages, such as Python or R, is a plus PRB
