Key Objectives of the Job · Lead Arpan's Content & Curriculum vertical, with innovation and relevance at its core, for offline and digital content as well as content to build public awareness and Arpan's thought leadership.· Drive decision on knowledge creation, presentation and dissemination by deriving insights from the Arpan's field realities, data, and evaluations and external environment.· Designing for scaleMajor Deliverables Content:· To ensure quality and relevance of education and learning in the space of CSA Prevention and Intervention through intentional planning, organization, and design of learning strategies, processes, materials, and experiences towards defined learning outcomes· To build high quality and engaging long and short format content effective for both offline and digital world· To ensure constant innovation across formats and stakeholder groups Pedagogy:· To focus on pedagogy design and create learning experiences for all stakeholders which will be effective for prevention and intervention of CSA Key Partnerships & Collaboration:· To represent Arpan at state and national level platforms to exhibit the organization's command on its content and curriculum in the sector Build a strong CC vertical:· To build a competent and future ready team, a knowledge resource base of Arpan with the latest developments, learnings, information acquired from the external platforms, and a process document to enable smooth functioning of the vertical.· To build a culture of strong process discipline including a robust process for vetting and also significantly increase the speed of turnaround in content creation.Job ChallengeArpan has evolved from being a practitioner organization to a being a thought leader in the space of CSA prevention and intervention. This role provides a unique opportunity to further strengthen Arpan's position as a resource agency and a think tank on the issue of CSA.Specialized Job Competencies 1. Subject matter expertise in curriculum and pedagogy design, especially in the field of Gender based Violence and Child Protection2. Creative writing skills and immaculate grammatical expertise3. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills4. Collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, and digital literacy5. Skills in planning and being result orientedEducational QualificationPost Graduate Degree in Sociology, Social Work / Science /Education / Psychology or a degree other relevant subjects is strongly preferredMandatory Work Experience·15 to 20 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the discipline of child rights, child care & protection· Should have some experience in a content development lead role in a national / international level NGO, research organization, school/academic boards· Demonstrated leadership in designing and developing content and pedagogy for new & existing programs. Programs should have had quantified impact across geographies - rural and urbanOther desired attributes · Preferably good understanding of Child Rights, Human Rights, Child Protection, J. J. Act · Should be able to articulate thoughts, observations and recommendations in clear manner · Good interpersonal skills, active listener · CollaborativeLocation - MumbaiSalary Range - 25 lakhs plus depending on qualification and years of experience PRB
