Each INOX Group company is characterized by three distinct characteristics - early identification of a winning business idea, building it to a size of dominant market leadership in that segment, and attaining profit leadership position through cutting-edge efficiency in operations.The Group Companies include - Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited, Inox Air Products, Inox Leisure Limited (Multiplex), Inox India Limited, Inox Wind Limited, Inox Wind Infrastructure Services Limited and Inox Renewables Limited.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:-Ensure protection and defence of intellectual property including Know- HowHarvest and evaluate invention disclosures, initiate novelty searches and support analysis of dataEnsure registration, enforcement, maintenance and defence of trademarksDraft patent application and prosecution thereofDefend IR rights attack from 3rd partiesDraft IP agreementsAssist in review of patents and trademarksIdentifying IP infringements and enforcing patents and trademarksPatent Landscaping and proper investigation regarding freedom - to - operate evaluation pertaining to company product portfolioEnsure proper IP risk management to enable product launches - Patentability assessment, patent drafting, filing, and online PCT filing.Define and take countermeasures vs. competitors IP and intelligenceFTO analysis, opposition/Invalidation actions, joint development, IP Due Diligence etc.Evaluate IP concerns at early stage product selecting, key blocking patents by innovator, market exclusivity studies (SPC, NCE)Support with respect to all search requests including patent information.Drafting, filing and prosecution of Patents in different jurisdictions worldwideIP Counselling to R&D teams, prior art searches, infringement, white space and patentability analysis.Use database to retrieve external information relevant to the CompanyKeep all stakeholders updated of major IP legal developmentsPerform IP awareness training for R and D and technology teamUnderstanding of US, EP, PCT, GCC, CN, IN Patent Laws and ProceduresLiterature searches using various databases using Data Mining ToolsEnsure protection and defence of intellectual property including Know- HowHarvest and evaluate invention disclosures, initiate novelty searches and support analysis of dataEnsure registration, enforcement, maintenance and defence of trademarksDraft patent application and prosecution thereofDefend IPR rights attack from 3rd partiesDraft IP agreementsAssist in review of patents and trademarksIdentifying IP infringements and enforcing patents and trademarksEducational Qualifications:-Minimum Qualification - M.Sc/ B.Tech in Chemistry/ Chemical Technology/ Polymer technologyPreferred Qualification -Diploma in Intellectual Property protection and Patents Patent AgentPatent and trademark agent Degree in law preferredFunctional and Behavioral Skills:-Intellectually rigorous with the ability to keep oneself up to date with all latest developments in the IP domainExcellent drafting ability and communication skillsThorough understanding of Patent and Trademark in different countriesHands On experience and expertise in Searches and use of data mining toolsMust have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and meet expectationsRelevant and total years of Experience:-Total Number of experience required -8-15 yearsRelevant experience required in -at least 8-12 years in the IPR Industry (working exp. With Chemical industries. Preference to candidates with background of EV/Hydrogen/Solar/ fluoro-speciality/ fluorochemicals/ Polymers Chemistry PRB
