Experience : 4 plus years with experience in US Business Tax & US Corporate TaxEducation - MBA, B.com, M.com , CPA, CA inter, CA's, EA CertifiedLocation : Kochi / CoimbatoreExperience & Education:Review of federal and state estimated tax payments.Review of federal 1040/1120/1065 etc and multi state tax returns(SALT).Review the international portion of US federal tax returns.Manages and ensures appropriate tax accounting in the general ledger.Identifies tax savings and exposures and effectively communicates such findings.Oversees the development and maintenance of tax accounting policies and standardized procedures.Assisting with engagement workflow management and supervising tax consultants and interns on assigned engagements.Prior supervisory experience required.Software:Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), and Adobe AcrobatExperience with tax research databases such as BNA and RIA Proficient in all tax compliance process software including GoFileRoom, GoSystemRS, Caseware, BNA Depreciation Software, or comparable programs and standard tax workpapers.Language:• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Responsibilities include:Manage the offshore team in India and report into the onshore reporting managerEnsure that the offshore team members understand the project tasks, deadlines, and expectationsReview deliverables for completeness, quality, and consistencyEstablish work schedules, project schedules, task deadlines and monitor offshore team for project completionIdentify and communicate continuous service improvementsCollaborate with the onshore team in US to ensure that both the offshore and onshore teams are working effectively togetherCreate and conduct privacy training and awareness content, as requestedClient Service & Supervisory Responsibilities:Superior verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively delegate work as neededStrong analytical, research and critical thinking skills as well as decision-making skillsCapacity to work well in a team environmentCapable of developing and managing a team of tax professionalsAbility to compose written tax adviceCapable of effectively developing and maintaining client relationshipsExecutive presence and ability to act as primary client contact for preparation and presentation of issues and resolutions to clients.
