Mission As a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead, you will work collaboratively with the Product and Software Engineering teams to ensure a high-quality product to customers. This is a hands-on role, where you will drive the QA team to ensure that best practices related to software testing are followed, whilst leading by example to develop and maintain our automated testing frameworks. With a continuous improvement mindset, you will be accountable for ensuring that the QA function is able to effectively identify any issues related to reliability and performance within the client's SaaS product. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for developing and maintaining testing strategies and capabilities including manual and automation testingPlan and set the direction of the automation and manual testing focussing on process improvementResponsible for coordinating, organizing, and delivering all test activities within the QA teamDevelopment and execution of automated tests, and continuously maintaining automated test casesCollaborate with product team and software engineering to ensure that the test automation framework obtains maximum product coverage using Cucumber (Jasmine Automation knowledge will be added advantage)Management and execution of manual tests where test automation is not technically feasibleEnhancement of performance testing capabilities to ensure that the application under test meets defined benchmarksLoad Testing experience will be an added advantageLeading root-cause analysis and corrective action activities relating to post release defectsQualification8+ years' experience in software quality/testing role including 3+ years' experience leading a teamcritical and analytical thinking and ability to perform hands-on manual and automation testing in an Agile development frameworkBachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical disciplineExperience developing, building, and running automated test frameworks (exposure to CI/CD toolsets such as Gitlab is a big plus) while championing quality and taking ownership of issues in this spaceProven experience leading high performing teams - mentoring and coaching on best practiceExcellent test analysis skills. Able to identify simple patterns and trends. Investigates problems and opportunities in existing processes and contributes to recommending solutions to theseExperience with automated testing frameworks/tools such as Selenium / Cucumber/Jasmine PRB
