The headquarters are in Australia. www.travelctm.co.ukOverviewThe role of the Business Travel Consultant is to provide a high level of customer service and support to both internal and external customers using a variety of communication methods to enable the smooth-running of day to day operations within the department.ResponsibilityThis is a full-time on-site role for a Travel Consultant (Air, Hotel & Rail) (Corporate). The Travel Consultant will be responsible for managing travel arrangements, providing excellent customer service, and coordinating car rental and other necessary services. The Business Travel Consultant will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with company travel policies and managing client relationships.•      Maintain a good level of understanding of the Sabre, Lightning and Traveler systems. Ensure bookings are processed in line with Standard Operating Procedures to maintain accuracy in PNR processing•      Maintain a good level of understanding of all our hotel/rail/car/ferry reservations and invoicing systems •      Understand telephone queries and assist to resolve in a polite and efficient manner. Illicit the perception of being a capable and credible consultant.•      Reply to e-mails within the 4-hour limit, identifying any problems and give advice where appropriate.  •      Ensure all customer SLAs are met during the life of their contracts and all customer enquiries are answered within appropriate timescales, delivering a consistent high quality level of customer service •      Provide guidance on best practice of using CTM online booking tools to clients, while ensuring adherence to organizational travel policies as well as CTM procedures. Taking appropriate action where consistent queries are being raised, escalating to the appropriate stakeholder •      Assist customers with itinerary and fare information when required using appropriate fare access codes applicable to Crown accounts •      Ensure all tickets are issued in compliance with fare rules using CTM Robotic check to ensure quality control on all bookings •      Assist the Business Support Unit/Administration Department with reconciliation or invoicing issues when required QualificationsSabre knowledge is a mustTravel Consulting and Travel Management skillsExperience in customer service and excellent communication and written skillsKnowledge of car rental and other travel servicesAttention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks at onceProficiency in travel booking software and systemsBachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field is a plusPlease Note: This Job Description is intended to serve as a guide for your performance of the role outlined above. As these are guidelines, we may re-visit them from time to time, updating or making changes as needed PRB
