Sr Software Engineer(PHP)

Job DescriptionWe're seeking talented engineers to join the Qualys team and help us build and enhance QualysGuard scanner services platform.This role is focused on building and maintaining core components of QualysGuard Scan services and the responsibility of this position is to define and develop services and components in a consistent and dependable manner. The position includes close collaboration with the Product manager and other Team Leads to ensure the consistent, well-documented design of all system components.The candidate needs to be able to work independently and solve complex engineering problems. Ability to ensure the design and interface consistency is key. The role requires the commitment to the end result and to do what it takes to deliver complete solutions.Successful candidates will be strong developers with deep experience in PHP, Oracle, HTTP and a passion for API design & REST.ResponsibilitiesWork closely work with Product Management team to understand the new features requirement.Troubleshoot and fix any issues from production.Prepare HLD and LLD for product feature requirement.Code development for new feature requirement.Design and implement distributed, scalable, high-performance applications.Updating and altering application features to enhance application performance.QualificationsShould have 5 to 7 years of hands-on coding experience in PHP based applications.Excellent PHP5.6/8 and object-oriented design and development skillsGood understanding of RDBMS and oracleGood understanding of networking concepts, operating system fundamentals, data structures and algorithmsStrong problem solving and analytical skills.Please Note: Attaching CV is mandatory.
