Job Title: Interior Designer as Pre-sales ExecutivesLocation: Alankaram Showroom, Hosur Road, Near Botanical Garden, BangalorePosition Summary: The Interior Designer - Pre-sales Executive will be the first point of contact for the customers, helping them to visualize and select furniture and decor products that best meet their requirements. They will utilize their design expertise to guide customers in making informed decisions, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functionality.Key Responsibilities:Customer Consultation: Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs, preferences, and requirements related to furniture and home decor.Product Presentation: Showcase the range of furniture and decor products available in the showroom, highlighting their features, benefits, and potential fit within the customers' spaces.Design Advice: Offer interior design suggestions, layout considerations, and color schemes that complement the chosen furniture, ensuring optimal space utilization.Sales Assistance: Support the sales team in closing deals by addressing any design or product-related queries and objections that customers might have.Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest interior design trends and integrate this knowledge into customer discussions to offer contemporary solutions.Collaborative Work: Coordinate with the sales and post-sales teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. Share insights and feedback that might help in improving the product portfolio or showroom presentation.Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from customers on product preferences, design requirements, and overall showroom experience to aid in continuous improvement.Product Knowledge: Continuously update knowledge about the furniture pieces, materials, maintenance guidelines, and other relevant product details to provide accurate information to the customers.Required Skills and Qualifications:Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.Experience: 4-8 years of experience in interior design, furniture sales, or a related role.Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication abilities to effectively interact with customers and team members.Customer-centric Mindset: A genuine interest in helping customers find solutions that best fit their needs.Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with design software tools and a good understanding of space planning, color coordination, and material selection.Sales Acumen: Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.Team Player: Ability to work seamlessly with different teams in a fast-paced environment.Desirable Skills:Prior experience in a furniture showroom or retail setting.Knowledge of the local market and understanding of customer preferences specific to Bangalore.Multilingual proficiency, especially in Kannada, to cater to a wider customer base.
