Job Description:Department Overview :Corporate Segment Finance is responsible for developing and delivering financial strategy, information and management support to the Corporate functions of TD Bank Group. This role provides finance support Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM). The CFO Finance team helps these areas fulfill their mandate and strategic needs by being a key partner in various change initiatives and advises on financial risks and opportunities.Job Description :The position will encompass a range of responsibilities with regards to Finance Business Partner support for TBSM, specifically focused on leading the activities relating to TBSM reporting, forecasting, planning & analysis:Act as subject matter expert on TBSM results, including leading forecasting and planning activities and interpreting Corporate Segment operating results on monthly/quarterly basis.Liaise extensively with TBSM, as well as Segment Finance groups, to ensure all relevant components are reported appropriately in Segment reporting.Partner with Finance Operations for month-end accounting and financial processesPrepare regular TBSM Monthly and Quarterly Operating Results package, including ad hoc analysis for senior leadership purposes.Lead a team of financial professionals to deliver on the Finance strategy for TBSMDevelop and maintain appropriate reporting infrastructure to drive transparency around Corporate expense allocations.Develop transparency and documentation outlining best practices relating to TBSM expense/revenue booking practices.Drive a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency by ensuring efficient and effective processes, leveraging automation where appropriate.Maintain good relations with all internal stakeholders and ensure that all their requirements are met. Must be able to work with minimal supervision in an unstructured and fast-paced environment.Job Requirements :Specific Work/Educational Requirements:Accounting designation (CPA) or CFA would be an asset, but not required10+ years of relevant experienceTreasury experience and/or capital markets, or associated finance support considered beneficialDemonstrated ability to drive transformation and changeAbility to understand and resolve complex issuesExcellent written and verbal communication skills are essentialAbility to adapt quickly, and adjust priorities as requiredSelf-motivated and enjoy working in a team environmentOther Qualifications / Skills / Expertise:Process improvement-focused mindset, with consistent and demonstrated track record of full-scale process re-design and automation.Knowledge of data visualization tools, Alteryx would be an asset.Data analytics competencies, supported by experience in traversing large data sets to perform analytics/drive business insights.Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including a strong competency in both MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
