General Ledger Accountant

Desired Skills:Demonstrate a proven track record in full-cycle accounting, showcasing proficiency in handling various aspects of financial processes from initiation to completion.Exhibit a strong enthusiasm for applying extensive knowledge of financial accounting principles to all tasks and responsibilities, ensuring a comprehensive and detail-oriented approach in day-to-day activities.Showcase an exceptional ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial records, reports, and analyses, ensuring precision and reliability in all aspects of accounting.Experience:Have a minimum of five to eight (5 -8) years' experience in finance or accounting, in a software company would be an asset.Qualifications:Commerce Graduate / post Graduate/ CA (Inter)/ CA Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain detailed cash flow analyses as required.Analyze monthly financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows. Effectively communicate analysis to management upon request.Assist in the preparation of year-end books for audit purposes.Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations for relevant entities.Reconcile bank accounts and assigned general ledger accounts.Assist in reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis according to the monthly closing schedule.Perform basic office management duties as required.Additional qualifications/skills, if any:Experience in the software industry is a plus, experience of working in Big4 is preferable.
