MD System Integration: as tech OPI to direct, monitor and support MD system integrationDirect MD SI team: as needed providing direction on MD SI priority and delivery dates.Monitor and support MD SI team: coordinating with stakeholders on issues potentially impact MD SI; conducting weekly update meeting with MD SI team.PI planning support: supporting MD SI team on PI planning, including preplanning discussion with the team, and participating PI planning with the team. SAFe support: participating daily Scrum meeting; participating bi-weekly sprint planning, sprint review, sprint demo.Monitor MD SI technical issues: conducting regular review of observations and SPR's related to MD SI.Coordinate with other test houses on MD baseline test, including SIL and SOS SI (MD).Field visit/test witness in Calgary: conducting quarterly visit to MD SI team in Calgary, to coordinate with MD SI team, and to witness actual tests.Conducting reviews on MD SI technical documents, including test plan and test cases, lab layout plan, and delivery submission such as VDD and EDP.MD Baseline support: to monitor MD Baseline management working groupMonitoring MD Baseline progression: working with baseline manager to manage the MD Baselines, including baseline progression from creation to releaseParticipating MD Baseline WG meetings and report MD Baseline statusMD System Design and ArchitectureConduct technical design review on MD system design through CR Review MeetingParticipate MD Steering Committee and review issues and designsParticipate MD Architecture Working Group meeting and review designsParticipate MD SPR Review meetings and review SPRsParticipate in bi-weekly working group meeting and review technical issuesMD IM: D3 IMO and D3 EIS IA (info admin)As EIS IA, administrating EIS MD SharePoint access, including regular access and restricted access on ITAR controlled itemsAs D3 IMO, administrating DWAN SharePointMD Document Management:Coordinate with engineering staff on document managementSupport Mobile Domain trials and exercise:Provide technical support to MD trials at the System Integration Lab (SIL) with System Problem Report management and reports.QualificationsProof of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) Master's degree in network, software, computer, systems, electrical, or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR.Must have demonstrated Professional Engineer License within Canada. Experience as a System Architect on Military Command and Control Communication and Information systems or ISTAR systems.Experience in the preparation of technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology / Information management or engineering. Communicating information technology frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.Communicating system engineering direction for projects or systems.Providing advice, guidance, and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-making of senior management.Leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT tactical systems, frameworks or strategies.Developing architecture in one or more of the following areas: System requirements gathering for complex systems;System level architecture for command and control communication and information systems with in a distributed platform environment;System level architecture for command and control communication and information system, within a Client/Server environment;C4ISR systems; and/orData architecture definition and implementation for C4ISR systems or similar systems. Analyzing, designing and/or implementing solutions in one or more of the following areas:Command and control communication and information systems with in a distributed platform environment;Command and control communication and information systems within a client/server environment;Military ISTAR systems;Joint or Allied C4ISR Interoperability solutions using NATO Standardization Agreements; andSystem management solutions (tools and processes) for communication & information systems and/or ISTAR systems.Demonstrated work experience in system integration, verification and validation, for hardware and software components (COTS and/or custom developed) in new or existing systems, in one of the following areas:Command and control communication and information systems with in a distributed platform environment;Command and control communication and information systems within a client/server environment;Military ISTAR systems; Joint or Allied C4ISR Interoperability solutions using NATO Standardization Agreements; andSystem management solutions (tools and processes) for communication & information systems and/or ISTAR systems.Additional InformationHybrid working environmentPeriodic travel to CalgaryMust currently hold or be eligible for Secret level Government of Canada clearanceADGA commits to putting diversity into action to build a stronger, more representative team and help our customers and communities thrive.
