Specializing in Sourdough, Baguettes, Ciabatta, Focaccia, and other Artisan Breads from around the world, our passionate team aims to share the joy of baking with the rest of the world.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Baker at Breadtime Stories. The Baker will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with bakery operations, including food preparation, baking a variety of breads, pastries and cookies, and ensuring quality and consistency in the products.ResponsibilitiesOpen the bakery early in the morningClean kitchen equipment and tools before useWeigh flour and other ingredients to prepare doughBake different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes, sourdough and multigrain breadsAdjust oven temperatures to ensure proper bakingMix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and pies (e.g. chocolate ganache, caramel sauce and fruits)Decorate cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream and edible toppings, like flowersShape dough to prepare different types of pastries, including croissants, cookies and sweet rollsTrack food supplies and place orders, as needed Assist in creating new recipes.Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner.QualificationsBakery and Baking skillsExperience in large scale bread productionExperience in Sourdough and Baguettes is a plus2 to 3 years experience in bread productionExperience in food preparationKnowledge of bread and cookie makingPassion for creating high-quality baked goodsAttention to detail and ability to follow recipesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work as part of a teamSalary RangeRs 20000 to Rs 30000 Depending on experience, expertise and performance PRB
