This is an exciting role leading a paid search team based in the Assembly India Centre of Excellence (COE). You'll work hand-in-hand with your counterparts in the Assembly EMEA teams who are based in London, UK and Paris, France.The Assembly India COE is a critical part of our offering, with the key benefit for our European clients being that we can get ahead of every day by using the time difference to our advantage. A key objective of this role will be to ensure EMEA based clients are ready to go by 9am GMT every morning.This is a perfect role for someone who has a high level of paid search technical expertise and an extensive track record of delivering exceptional performance for clients. This is not a 'back office' role, you will be hands-on, leading from the front in ensuring your team deliver gold standard paid search campaign set-up, optimisation, analysis, strategy and - most importantly - performance.Responsibilities & accountabilitiesChannel and technical expertiseEnsures your team are always at the top of their game: fully qualified in the main platforms, regularly coaching the team on how to deliver best practice and achieve exceptional results.Collaborates with our partners (Google, Microsoft etc) both in EMEA and India ensuring we're amongst the first to understand and master new and existing features and approaches.Develops and evolves best practice and techniques across the platforms in conjunction with the Assembly EMEA paid search community.Initiates and/or contributes to thought pieces and analysis projects that showcase Assembly's paid search expertise.Seamless integrationActs as an extension of the EMEA Assembly teams: fully understanding our clients' goals, processes and ways of working.Fully adhere to Assembly EMEA's paid search operating standards, workflow systems and processes.Attends the daily EMEA and India 'stand-ups' with you and your team prepared with insights, recommendations and updates that help our clients achieve their performance goals.Ensures you and your teams are active and noisy members of the global Assembly paid search community.Creates a culture of curiosity, diligence, responsibility and proactivity. You'll be leading a team who are an integral part of our business.Operational excellenceYour team proactively conducts overnight (for EMEA clients) account checks and audits to ensure there are zero errors (overspends etc) and compiles optimisation recommendations ready for review at 9am GMT every morning.Establishes routines and ways of working which ensure our teams are close to the 'real-time' performance of accounts and therefore able to deliver exceptional insight and performance.Ensures your team are organised, have clear responsibilities and deliver high quality work to agreed deadlines.Work with the EMEA paid search leadership team to design, build and deliver operational best practice.Ensure 100% compliance of all Assembly paid search operational processes.Client performanceDevelops a client first mentality across your team, ensuring your team act in the best interests of our clients and always show up positively.Coaches team to provide clear insight, actionable recommendations and to make sound predictions of the potential outcomes from your recommendations.You are responsible for ensuring all work coming from your team is correct, of a high quality and meets the requirements from the client and/or EMEA Assembly team.Drives exceptional performance for our clients and ensures our clients and the agency know about the value your team bring to our clients' businesses.High PerformanceCreates a high performing team of specialists who support and positively challenge one another.Represents the department at all levels across the agency, collaborating positively and with purpose.Nurtures an inclusive team ensuring everyone is heard and treated equally.Implements talent management strategies.RequirementsHigh energy, is an excellent communicator, leads by example and is a problem solver.5+ years' experience in planning and activating high performing paid search campaigns in Google and Microsoft.Has relevant Google Ads and Microsoft qualifications.Is highly analytical and able to simplify the complex.Having an educational background in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subject would be advantageous but not essential.Has advanced Excel skills.Can call upon lots of examples of delivering growth for clients through paid search.Has experience of working with EMEA teams.Has led high performing paid search activation teams.
