We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead specializing in PHP and Laravel to join our team. As the Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction and development efforts of our PHP and Laravel projects. If you have a strong background in PHP and Laravel development, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating scalable and innovative web applications, we want to hear from you.Roles and Responsibilities:Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and expertise to the development team.Lead the architectural design and development of PHP and Laravel applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in PHP and Laravel development.Evaluate and recommend appropriate frameworks, libraries, and tools to optimize the development process.Project Management: Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and designers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Plan project timelines, set priorities, and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of projects.Conduct regular project status meetings, monitor progress, and address any potential roadblocks.Manage project risks and proactively take corrective actions to ensure successful project execution.Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and manage a team of PHP developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.Assign tasks, set goals, and provide regular feedback to team members to drive their professional growth.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication, coordination, and alignment on project goals.Code Quality and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines in PHP and Laravel development.Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote code optimization, reusability, and modularity.Implement and enforce unit testing and other quality assurance practices to deliver reliable and bug-free software solutions.Champion continuous integration and deployment processes to streamline the development workflow.Research and Innovation: Stay informed about emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools related to PHP and Laravel development.Conduct research and feasibility studies to assess the potential of adopting new technologies or approaches.Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and automation within the development lifecycle.Promote a culture of innovation and experimentation to drive the evolution of our PHP and Laravel projects.Qualifications:5+ Years of proven experience in PHP Development.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior PHP Developer, with a focus on Laravel framework.In-depth knowledge of PHP and Laravel development, including MVC architecture, database design, and RESTful APIs.Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.Experience with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.Strong understanding of software development principles, agile methodologies, and version control systems (e.g., Git).Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience with cloud platforms, containerization (e.g., Docker), and DevOps practices is a plus.
