Job Designation: General Manager - FinanceLocation - BengaluruExperience - 15+ yearsEducational Qualification - Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant)Industry competence: Preferably having worked in the computer/electrical hardware or related industry.Job Description: Responsible for leading the finances of the company, the Head-Finance must work independently to deliver the plan. Among his many responsibilities, he must decide capital allocation, track cash flow, manage the accounting, finance and compliance departments, close annual, quarterly and monthly financials and ensure financial reports are accurate. He must have an ongoing impact on company operations, helping to analyze, strategize and strengthen the company's financial position. Must be conversant with current accounting practices and trends and quickly adapt to changes. Specific Responsibilities: The objectives of this role are:Cash management, investments, budgeting, and financial reporting Develop AOP, measure and track actual performance, provide projection, enable decision, and ensure action by business. Set and report weekly and monthly financial KPIs.Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organization.Implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled and agile organization that has strong fiscal management, project management, cross-functional communication, and efficient workflows.Comply with national and state financial requirements and take appropriate actions to ensure compliance.Measure revenue performance, mix and operating margin and identify areas for cost reduction and operating efficiency. Monitor business performance through tracking tools, establish course corrections where required and prepare detailed reports.Perform risk management through analysis of liability and investments.Qualifications: CA with 15-20 years of experience, based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore.Desired Skills & Characteristics:Functional competence: Should be competent in 3 areas:Accounting and Compliance (DT (Deferred Tax), IDT (Intradepartmental Transfer) (and others)Business Finance and FP&AControlIndustry competence: Preferably having worked in the computer hardware (maybe, drone too) industry. People from target companies (HCL, Lenovo etc.) shall potentially reduce the runway of learning for the new guy. People competence: Should have handled a team, necessarily covering the functional competence areas above. Cross functional co-ordination and stakeholder management experiences necessary. PRB
