The position requires a quick learner with a passion for using cutting-edge technology.Senior SW EngineerKey ResponsibilitiesWith a focus on Full stack development, lead efforts with other team members to design, develop, deploy, and maintain applications, web APIs, and integration with cloud technologies that serve thousands of customersWork with internal and external customers in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, Code, Test, Troubleshoot, and document engineering software applicationsProvide team leadership and mentoring to deliver testable, maintainable high-quality and performant code taking end-to-end ownership of components developedApplying knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsProvides technical support for software products to customers via phone, email, or live web session. On occasion when customers' operations are impacted, support may be required after-hours.Adhere to all NOV HSE policies, utilize appropriate PPE, and actively participate in monthly safety meetings.Other duties as assignedDesirable QualificationsBachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or demonstrable equivalent education and experience7-10 years object-oriented software development experience; in-depth knowledge of SOLID design principlesPractical experience in leading architecture, design, and development of full-stack web applications2 - 5 years of hands-on database expertise including SQL, Stored Procedures, and complex SQL debuggingPractical knowledge of database software installs, patching, monitoring, and production troubleshooting, including SQL Server and PostgreSQLExperience developing web or mobile technologies, Angular & Typescript, NgRx, RxJS, React experience highly desirableAbility to clearly express design concepts with peers in graphical, written, and verbal formDemonstrated ability mentoring software development and test engineersProven skills in team software development, processes, and toolsExperience with C#, .NET, Entity Framework, or Unity, a plusExperience with GitHub, CI/CD tools a plusKnowledge of the AWS services a plusWell intervention and completions operational knowledge a plusStrong problem-solving skills, attentive to detail PRB
