ActivitiesWill be responsible for working as part of the dedicated team for an investment bankInteracting with key bankers and business managers in multiple global locations to understand their requirement, feedback on the service, providing recurring and ad hoc MIS, and also identifying growth opportunitiesSupporting our clients in FIG sector (Financial Institutions Group covering Insurance, Banking, NBFCs, Assets Management, Wealth Management, etc.), in preparing pitch books, industry reports, company focused discussion documents, studying & analyzing different business & financial models in a particular industryShould have good understanding of Leverage, Leverage SII, Capital Mix (T1, T2 and T3), Solvency and Profitability within Insurance and Banking sectorCan work on capital structures with good understanding of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 debt, as well as IFRS 17 and Basel normsShould be well aware of implications of regulatory requirements on a company's financial statementsExpertise in financial analysis including operational (NIM, NPA, CAR, Solvency ratio, AUM, etc.) / financial benchmarking, trading/ transaction comparables, etc.Managing delivery of projects including detailed industry studies or market analysis, pitch books, information memorandums, strategic account plans, company profiles, assets profiles, ad-hoc requests, financial analysis, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments through in-depth secondary research and studying & analyzing different business & financial models in a particular industryManage project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure "high client satisfaction"Setting up responsibilities for direct reports; coaching them on complex assignments and reviewing their work with value-add suggestions with a goal to exceed client expectationsDemonstrate strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessmentIdentify any potential growth opportunities with existing clients and pass them to operations head or sales teamRequired BackgroundPost-Graduation in Finance (MBA, CFA, CA, etc.) or equivalent qualification Relevant experience of 4-6 years supporting Investment Banking division of a bank, consulting firm, boutique firm, advisory firm, with 1-2 years of front-end experience in pitching and execution on live dealsThe candidate should have the ability to work independently and possesses the management/leadership skills to run the research on a day-to-day basis and apply his insights to client ideasAbility to handle pressure working in fast paced environment with quick problem-solving skills Sound knowledge and relevant work experience on industry and macro-economic overviews/ studies, competitive landscape, relative valuation, detailed company analysis, financial modeling, Pitch books, IMs, etc.Excellent written and spoken communication skillsWorking knowledge of databases such as FactSet, Capital IQ, Refinitiv Eikon, Merger Market, etc.MS Office skills - should be excellent in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS WordInterested candidates can also share their resumes to Mansi.bhadouria-non-empl@acuitykp.com PRB
