Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Global Network Manager/Lead Senior Network Engineer to oversee and manage our organization's global network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network environments across multiple locations. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and optimization of our network infrastructure. Core Responsibilities: Lead the design, implementation, and management of our global network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance across all locations.Develop and execute strategies to optimize network performance, scalability, and security in alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.Manage a team of network engineers and technicians, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise to drive collaboration and excellence in network operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess needs, and design solutions that meet business objectives and comply with regulatory requirements.Oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network hardware, software, and protocols, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers. Perform firewall administration (Fortinet and Cisco ASA), Site-to-Site VPN, DMVPN, GRE over IPsec, Cisco VPN any connect, Forticlient SSL VPNMonitor network performance, analyze and troubleshoot a highly complex routing, switching and access network in a large multi-protocol environment, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of critical network services.Establish and maintain network security protocols, policies, and procedures to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and vendor solutions to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in network infrastructure and operations.Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure compliance with organizational standards.Provide leadership and guidance in network-related projects, initiatives, and strategic planning efforts to support business growth and expansion.Install, configure, and manage various network devices and services (e.g., Fortinet FW, Cisco NGFW, Cisco 2960, 4510, 6509, ASA 5525, ASA 5585, ASR1K, ASR9K, Nexus 3K, Nexus 7K, Nexus 9K, Arista 7280, 7060, 7010)Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurationsProvide trending, analysis, problem management, incident escalation, and standards compliance.Provide data to Network Engineers and management to facilitate capacity planning, upgrades and expansion.Ensure uptime and trouble-free operation of critical network services that are used by the development and test community. Skills Required - The successful candidate will possess:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field10+ years of experience in network engineering, architecture, and operations, with a focus on global network environments, hands-on experience in routing, switching, high availability networking, security, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN and Remote access.The ideal candidate should possess a CCIE certification specializing in Routing and SwitchingProven track record of designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and managing enterprise-scale network infrastructures across multiple locations and geographic regionsExpert knowledge of IP Subnetting (IPv4 and IPv6), CIDR, dynamic IP Routing Protocols, VLANs, and the complete OSI modelStrong technical expertise in networking technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, IPsec, 802.11, and 802.3.Experience with network hardware and software platforms from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, Arista, and FortinetDemonstrable knowledge of network analysis tools to debug connection oriented and connectionless protocols and traffic flowsSolid understanding of multicast streaming media delivery, traffic shaping, policing, and general QoS technologiesAbility to work well independently with minimal direct supervision Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a team of network professionals.Hand-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostics and network analytics tools(FortiAnalyzer, Solarwinds, ARISTA CVP/Telemetry, and Logic Monitor)Knowledge of cabling needs for LAN/WAN speed communications (Fiber optics, TwinAx, and copper cables)Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation, agility, and continuous improvementShould be able to read and follow complicated instructions in the manualMust be a team players but also able to work independentlyAbility to perform well under pressureMust be able to lift at least 50 lbsMust be flexible with the working hours to support global operationsOur Awards: https://www.mediakind.com/our-awards/ At MediaKind, we celebrate diversity.
