You will be responsible for overseeing patent and trademark activities, collaborating with external patent attorneys, conducting IP trainings, and ensuring compliance with open-source and software licensing regulations. Your must have a proactive approach which will involve engaging with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate IP risks and formulate policies for IP management.Responsibilities:Manage invention disclosure forms and support the prosecution and grant of patents at USPTO, EPO, and Indian Patent Office in coordination with external patent attorneys.Coordinate with external trademark attorneys to obtain trademark registrations for HighRadius brands.Conduct IP trainings and assist inventors in documenting invention disclosure forms.Maintain comprehensive documentation related to patents and trademarks.Proactively monitor deadlines for patent and trademark matters.Assist product and engineering teams in mitigating open-source and software license risks.Build strong relationships with product, engineering, and marketing teams to identify and mitigate IP risks.Other tasks to support the legal department as needed, such as managing IP budget and coordinating with finance team for payments to service providers.
