Job Title: Electrical Engineer Team ManagerJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Team Manager to lead our electrical engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electrical engineering principles, combined with exceptional leadership and managerial skills. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and projects while effectively managing a team of engineers.Responsibilities:1. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project execution and professional development.2. Project Management: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.3. Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components, including power distribution, control systems, and circuitry.4. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs and ensure seamless functionality.5. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and meet project deadlines.6. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the reliability, safety, and compliance of electrical systems with industry regulations and company requirements.7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project success and minimizing disruptions.8. Communication: Foster open communication and collaboration within the electrical engineering team and across departments, keeping stakeholders informed of project progress, challenges, and milestones.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.- Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical engineering, with a focus on design, development, and implementation of electrical systems.- Strong technical proficiency in electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, circuit design, and control systems.- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and mentor team members.- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in electrical engineering.- Proficiency in engineering software tools and applications.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
