KMS System Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities :Administering the Key Management Service (KMS) and the associated Hardware Security Modules (HSM)Coordinate and migrate the current customer keys from old TCK Key server to Global KMS Interface with suppliers, internal project team and manufacturing to identify security requirements/architectureSupporting engineering activities, as identified, and facilitating the transition of engineering products into the operational environmentOperational support and troubleshootingDevelop and support the APIs for generating keys/certificate using PythonSupport Projects to integrate within KMS & HSM integration (Data Center / Manufacturing) and configuration Create/update customer specific repository, key policy, security keys for manufacturing processSupport and implement "software signing" process for product teamsWork with different internally competencies for KMS project maintenanceMaintain a project status report containing all open items between kms and other competencies like mnfg, fis, project teams, suppliersTeam player with good communication skills.Strong sense of responsibility, act independently and be proactivePreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with device security concepts such as Secure boot (using HSM, SHE etc.), Secure updates, Secure communications (TLS/SSL, MQTT, Firewall etc.) and applied cryptographyWorking knowledge of Keys, random number generation, and handling of crypto materialHave knowledge of Hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL) and software languages (assembly, C, C++, Python)Experience using JTAG/SCAN/Chip-Whisperer or other direct interaction with test hardwarePrevious experience in assisting silicon bring-up, debug and characterizationFamiliarity with standards such as NIST, FIPS, PKCS etc.Experience in customer discussions and technical design reviews; supporting cross discipline activities, and participating in end to end life cycle of a productStrong software and Hardware debugging skillsPassionate to learn about new security vulnerabilities and develop software solutionsRequired Qualifications:Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer science3 + years' experience engineering, designing and developing embedded secure systemsExperience working in the automotive industryKnowledge of system development and handling of crypto materialHigh level of oral and written communication skillsExcellent organization, communication, collaboration and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate and present complex issues and ideas with precision and clarity, adjusting appropriately for the audience; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organizationAptiv Rewards & Advantagescompensation package including; Bonus Potential, Healthcare, Pension & TaxSaver schemes.professional growth and development in a world-recognized international environment.to internal & external training, coaching & certifications.for innovation and excellence.to give back to the community.work that makes a difference in the world.Some see differences.
