Role & Responsibilities:Strategic Procurement Leadership:Develop and lead the company's procurement strategy, policies, and best practicesAlign procurement goals with the organization's strategic objectivesDrive innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement functionSupplier Relationship Management:Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving performanceNegotiate high-value contracts and agreements with suppliersMonitor and evaluate supplier performance, adherence to SLAs, and contract complianceCost Management and Savings:Develop and execute comprehensive cost management strategies, aiming to optimize costs and improve profitabilityIdentify cost-saving opportunities and oversee cost reduction initiativesManage procurement budgets and track cost savingsStrategic Sourcing:Oversee the sourcing and procurement process across all categoriesImplement strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure the best value for goods and servicesDrive supplier diversity and sustainability effortsRisk Management:Identify and assess procurement-related risks; develop strategies to mitigate potential disruptionsEstablish and maintain contingency plans for supply chain disruptionsStay informed about industry trends and market conditions to proactively address risksTeam Leadership and Development:Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovationProvide guidance and support in executing procurement initiativesPromote professional development and growth within the teamContract Management:Oversee the end-to-end contract management process, ensuring all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirementsNegotiate, review, and approve contracts for large-scale projects and partnershipsReporting and Analytics:Maintain comprehensive records of procurement transactions, contracts, and cost-related dataGenerate regular reports on procurement performance, cost analysis, and savings achievedUse data analytics to drive informed decision-making and process improvementMust Haves:Strong leadership and team management skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal abilitiesAnalytical mindset with a keen attention to detailProficiency in contract management and legal complianceExperience and Skills:Minimum 18 years of track record of leadership and achievement in sourcing & procurementIn-depth knowledge of procurement processes, negotiation strategies, and cost analysis techniquesEngineering or Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Finance, Supply chain management, or a related fieldNote:This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and requirements of the position.
