Duties and Responsibilities: Inherent Job Requirements: Lecturer • A PhD in Psychology or related discipline on NQF Level 10 (for a permanent appointment)  or • Master's degree in Psychology or related discipline on NQF Level 9 (contract appointment: five years during which a PhD on NQF Level 10 in Psychology or related discipline MUST be obtained to be converted to a permanent position).  • Three (3) years' registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Counselling Psychologist. • Proven experience in the delivery of poster or oral presentations at conferences or equivalent activities. • Evidence of manuscripts produced that have the potential to be converted or submitted for publication in accredited journals. • Expertise within child, adolescent and adult assessments and psychotherapeutic interventions. • A good academic record. • Lecturing experience in Psychology at a tertiary institution. • The ability to work and learn more about digitalized academic platforms. • Experience in statistical packages (SPPS/MPLus)
