There is space for every individual to be themselves and feel motivated to bring their best to the table, as well as craft a promising career for themselves.The values that form our foundation are:Radical customer centricityOwnership-driven cultureKeeping everything simpleLong-term thinkingComplete transparencyRoles and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze solutions and implement best practices for database cluster and its components.Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, performance analysis, and system tuning.Provide database expertise to engineering teams (for example through reviews of database migrations, queries and performance optimizations).Work on automation of database infrastructure and help engineering succeed by providing self-service tools.Work with peer SREs to roll out changes to our production environment and help mitigate database-related production incidents.Support and debug database production issues across services and levels of the stack.Influence and create new designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.Make monitoring and alerting alert on symptoms and SLOs.Document every action so your learnings turn into repeatable actions and then into automation.Experience & Skills3-5 years of relevant experience with database services and Cloud servicesHave Strong experience running MySQL in large production environments.Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems (Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, or comparable solutions)Demonstrated experience with languages, such as Python, Java, Golang etc.Have at least 2 years of experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform…).Know your way around Linux and the Unix Shell.Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
