We are looking for a developer who is familiar with Telematic and someone who has worked with a start-up. The role poses interesting challenges to those who want to work in an exciting industry. As a Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the firmware development team in the design, development, and production of our firmware-supported products. You will be responsible for testing, documenting, and creating firmware standards.Key Responsibilities Collaborate with other engineers on technical and design issues.Develop firmware algorithms to handle exceptional conditions and errors.Install and verify the firmware on an embedded system.Troubleshoot system, performance, and functional issues with the firmware.Execute projects within defined scope, budget, and timelines.Evaluate technical specifications for correctness and completeness.Prepare reports on project status, issues, and risks for management.Assist in optimizing firmware to achieve performance standards.Provide product support to customers promptly and accurately.Ensure in compliance with company policies and procedures.Review codes of other engineers and provide feedback.Key Requirements1-3 yrs of relevant experience in the field.Deep understanding of C programming language.Embedded software design experience using Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).Solid understanding of the embedded system and design concepts.Knowledge of microcontroller architectures, and how to design for low power consumption. Experience in debugging embedded systems (HW and SW).Experience with Cortex-M3/M4-based MCUs (TI, ST).Experience with software-hardware interface development and integration.Experience in version control tools (Git, SVN, Bitbucket)Desired Skills IncludeTCP/IP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6GSM, GPS AT command implementation.Bluetooth application development.Real-Time Operating Systems - Synchronization, Message Passing, Memory management, etc.Experience in reading schematics, and basic knowledge of Analog electronics.We assure you A friendly culture where you are encouraged to share ideas and opinions.A journey that will challenge and reward you in multiple ways.
