Senior Manager - IT Business Analyst

Additional Job DescriptionPurpose: This role supports the business in driving technology solutions, including understanding and documenting the requirements, design, development and adoption of superior technology capabilities for the end-to-end business process. This role works closely with business functions, vendor partners and other supporting Diageo functions to shape the business requirements and deliver clear requirements for the development of key IT capabilities & services to enable the appropriate platforms to support respective business initiatives. Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.Key Responsibilities: 1. Interface to Business • Serve as the IT interface for all business functions for demand management and implementation, service management and relationship management in the area of Sales, Marketing, Supply and Corporate Functions technology platforms • Provide support and lead through key IT initiatives; proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness • Operate as the key business contact representing IT in promoting IT services and capabilities and ensure delivery as per promise.2. Solution Development & Delivery • Perform business needs assessment & value analysis and collaborate on mapping of technical specifications through IT Partners • Develop and implement function need based solution roadmaps and to ensure successful introductions across the target (organization and with customers) • Gather, Understand, and Document the complete business requirements. • Perform QA testing of built solution and support UAT • Manage the approved IT budgets and spends ; Continuous focus on improving cost of delivery/service.3. BAU Efficiencies • Act as the key liaison for the assign function to all other functional areas, including business units, the information technology department, and outside vendors • Create consensus with other functions as to the timing of solution introductions, enhancements and withdrawals.• Oversee existing solutions / platform utilization , impact, benefit and resolve day to day operational issues Qualifications & Experience: • MBA preferred • 6-8 years experience in a business facing functional supporting role • Experience in requirements elicitation and documenting the same; • Experience in AlcoBev or Consumer Packaged Goods Industry; • Experience with various modules of SAP ECC • Experience in the following areas will be an added bonus - Managing web and mobile based applications - Experience managing consumer data and conversant with data privacy frameworks such as GDPR - Experience with deliverables on metrics related reporting using analytics/visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc - Experience with driving projects using Agile frameworks • Attention to detail is key, inquisitive & questioning nature • Great at working as part of a cohesive, integrated team • Strong problem solving planning/ organising, highly detail conscious • Quick learner who exhibits resiliency and tenacity in the face of challenge & ambiguity • Have a huge passion for growing and developing • Demonstrated leadership and the development of others • Experience in working in an outsourced environment would be advantageous Knowledge & skills: • Experience of having worked in the various business areas like Sales, Marketing, Supply and Corporate Functions for Consumer Product Goods organization • Strong business acumen to arrive at relevant solutions • Operational execution excellence • Ability to manage delivery through partners and to hold them to high standards of delivery • Ability to drive change and adoption by establishing and showcasing business value of technology platform • Is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
