They work closely with graphic designers, editors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate and visually appealing layouts that meet the requirements of the project.Job Responsibilities:1. Using publishing software (such as MS office - Word and PowerPoint), Adobe InDesign, and CorelDRAW) to create, format, and arrange text, images, and graphics for print and digital media.2. Collaborating with internal team, graphic designers, and editors to understand project requirements and specifications.3. Designing and preparing layouts for various materials, including books, magazines, flyers, advertisements, and other marketing collateral.4. Selecting appropriate fonts, colors, and graphics to enhance the visual appeal and readability of the content.5. Manipulating and retouching images to ensure quality and consistency within the design.6. Incorporating stakeholder feedback and making necessary revisions to layouts and designs.7. Ensuring that the final designs are print-ready, including proper bleeds, margins, and file formats.8. Preparing files for digital distribution, such as converting documents into PDF or other formats.9. Managing and organizing digital assets, including fonts, images, and templates, to maintain consistency and accessibility.10. Staying updated with industry trends, design software updates, and emerging technologies related to publishing software.Skills and Qualifications:1. Proficiency in using publishing software, such as Adobe InDesign, or CorelDRAW.2. The candidate should have 2- 5 years of experience.3. Creating custom presentation slides, themes, formatting documents and Incorporating graphs or charts into reports4. Strong understanding of layout design principles, typography, and color theory.5. Ability to interpret design briefs and translate them into visually appealing layouts.6. Knowledge of image editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, for basic image manipulation and retouching.7. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.8. Basic understanding of printing processes, file formats, and prepress requirements.9. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers, and other team members.10. Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot layout issues and optimize designs for different mediums.11.
