Job Detail: Therapy Assistant - Griffith
As a Therapy Assistant you will deliver therapy programs to our clients under instruction and guidance of a qualified Allied Health Professional. Therapy programs will include individual and group therapy programs for clients, in an individual and family centred model of practice. This position is based locallyin Griffith and surrounds. You will receive regular support from our Therapists in person and you will also receive support from therapists remotely. This is a casual position, based in the community.Key Responsibilities
As a Therapy Assistant, you will:- Support our clients and their families to achieve their therapy goals with Physiotherapy, OT and Speech programs.
- Further your experience in the fast growing disability sector, whilst receiving ongoing and careful support from our Allied Health Professionals
- Be a champion for our customers and support them to achieve their goals and independence
Key Requirements
- Allied Health students currently studying an allied health degree (e.g. SP, OT, DT, PT) living locally, perhaps studying externally - or;
- Certificate IV in Allied Health, - or;
- Fully qualified and/or experienced Allied Health Assistant (min Cert III).
- Hold a valid Working with Childrens Check and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
- Have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module training.
- Be a highly motivated and caring individual.
- Hold current First Aid and CPR.
- A current drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of professional boundaries and scope of practice.
- Capacity to assist in all duties and be confident to do so autonomously.
- A high level of energy & enthusiasm towards the work you do.

This is a casual position, based in the community. </p><h3> Key Responsibilities </h3><p> As a Therapy Assistant, you will: </p><ul><li> Support our clients and their families to achieve their therapy goals with Physiotherapy, OT and Speech programs. </li><li> Further your experience in the fast growing disability sector, whilst receiving ongoing and careful support from our Allied Health Professionals </li><li> Be a champion for our customers and support them to achieve their goals and independence </li></ul><h3> Key Requirements </h3><ul><li> Allied Health students currently studying an allied health degree (e.g. SP, OT, DT, PT) living locally, perhaps studying externally -<b> or; </b></li><li> Certificate IV in Allied Health, -<b> or; </b></li><li> Fully qualified and/or experienced Allied Health Assistant (min Cert III). </li><li> Hold a valid Working with Childrens Check and NDIS Worker Screening clearance. </li><li> Have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module training. </li><li> Be a highly motivated and caring individual. </li><li> Hold current First Aid and CPR. </li><li> A current drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle. </li><li> Well-developed interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of professional boundaries and scope of practice. </li><li> Capacity to assist in all duties and be confident to do so autonomously. </li><li> A high level of energy & enthusiasm towards the work you do. </li></ul><p><b> Covid Vaccination Status </b><br> The health and safety of our people, customers, and communities is our number one priority.
