Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking - Full Time Registered Practical Nurses (RPN/LPN) with a minimum of one (1) year of full-time RPN experience to join the team in Borden, Ontario. The successful RPN will provide services to patients in a walk-in and appointment basis in various primary and ambulatory care settings, such as the Care Delivery Unit (CDU), treatment room, and specialty clinic. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will provide direct patient care under the direction of physicians, Registered Nurses, and/or other healthcare providers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: conducting patient history and physical assessments; COVID screening prior to patients entering the clinic; assistance with vaccinations; performing selected diagnostic and therapeutic interventions; and counseling patients on preventive health care. ** We thank and appreciate all applicants, however, the Recruitment Team will only contact candidates who are moved forward in the recruitment process to discuss the role. Job Qualification The successful candidate must have, as a minimum, one (1) year of full-time experience within the last 3 years in nursing practice conducting patient assessments, and providing direct nursing care for a broad range of diseases in the adult population in a primary care or ambulatory care setting. Candidates must also have: Graduated from a Practical Nursing Program approved by Council of the College of Nurses; Current and valid license from the provincial or territorial professional college or association in the province of practice; and Certificate of Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent such as Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (CPR/AED) Level C. Other Requirements: Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within 2 years) Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (within 2 years) Benefits of working with Bayshore Medical Personnel: Enjoy a great work/ life balance with daytime hours, Monday to Friday.
