JOB DESCRIPTION The Sr. Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer will be working in Convo's lean and agile environment for supporting the testing activities for SaaS apps and Enterprise Resource Planning solutions. Location: Islamabad, PK Role Responsibilities:

  • The responsibilities include test planning and management, manual testing, defect logging/verification, test case creation, leveraging test tools, and ensuring the quality of requirements.
  • This team-oriented resource should develop and execute repeatable test procedures, implement and support SQA practices across the organization.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and Product team to clarify requirements, follow up on issues, and reduce defects.
  • Requirements: 4 to 5 years of experience in testing Web, Android, and iOS native applications.
  • Experience testing large scale, complex web applications native mobile apps (Android & IOS), especially in themes of social networking, enterprise collaboration, productivity or ERPs
  • Note: Only Website testing experience is not a fit for this position. Understanding of test methodologies for API / Web-service (REST/SOAP) delivered application.
  • Hands-on experience using tools such as Postman, Jmeter and Charles.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.
  • Ability and experience in developing high coverage test cases for application features.
  • A deep understanding of the benefits of QA automation, some hands-on experience will be a plus.
  • Working experience of A gile methodologies, SCRUM, and Agile Testing Life Cycles.
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA processes in Scrum.
  • Experience in supporting and /or leading production releases/project test efforts.
  • Experience in applying quality management best practices and implementing application lifecycle management that includes requirements management, test planning, and execution, defects tracking, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Must have a can-do attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with other SQA team members, development, project management and multiple business functions.
