Position Overview The Operations Manager is a key member of the senior management team, responsible for the direction and achievement of operational excellence across our assets. Reporting to the General Manager, this individual is a key advisor and central figure to the implementation of the organisation's operational vision and strategic direction. Our operations are based in Somersby, with Assets operating throughout Australia, servicing clients on some of Australia's landmark projects in the Construction and Infrastructure sectors. In this pivotal role, you are accountable for maintaining organisational effectiveness in the manner in which resources are allocated to the assets (including people and equipment) ensuring delivery of business plans in a successful and timely manner. At the same time, you will optimise our operations across Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Logistics to maximise value for our customers and shareholders. This includes collaboration with cross functional executives to deliver improvement opportunities. This hands-on role will elevate the focus on assurance and proper governance across all operational activities, as well as enforcing discipline to company values and effective process control. You recognise positive approaches to operational issues that constitute leading practice, sharing the learning's across other parts of the business, ultimately striving for common standards of excellence across the organisation.
