Infrastructure Operations Head - Leading Financial Institution

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee a team responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the firm's infrastructure, including but not limited to networks, servers, storage, data centers, and cloud platforms.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, and scalability to support the organization's business goals.
• Collaborate with other IT leaders to ensure alignment between infrastructure operations and broader technology initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve overall service levels.
• Establish and maintain operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor infrastructure performance metrics and proactively identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the infrastructure operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
• Oversee vendor management activities, ensuring that external service providers meet service level agreements and deliver value to the organization.
• Act as a primary point of contact for infrastructure-related incidents, escalations, and outages, driving timely resolution and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in infrastructure operations, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a large financial institution, banking or a similarly complex organization.
• Strong technical expertise in areas such as network infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and data center operations.
• Proven track record of successfully leading teams and delivering high-quality infrastructure services within a global, multi-site environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CCNA) are advantageous.
