Job Description Electrical, electronic, pneumatic & mechanical knowledge, comprehension, and skills. AC/DC control circuits PLC and control circuit Troubleshooting Ladder logic knowledge and basic programming skills VFD's 120v, 240, 480v single and three phase power circuits 24v and 120v control circuits Use of hand tools, Multi-meters Analog & Digital, ammeters, amp probes etc. Work from manuals, prints schematics: basic skills in math & reading Good communication Skills, basic computer skills Planning and organizing skills Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC)- Allen Bradley PLC 5, SLC 500- Siemens Knowledge Human Machine Interfaces (TCP) or Allen Bradley Panel View Plus (a Plus) Experience with proximity and photo sensors Training of maintenance personnel Documentation Must be able to comprehend and comply with all OSHA and company safety and electrical regulations including Lock Out / Tag Out, and Arc Flash protection Assist in CapEx planning with identifying obsolescence and electrical controls replacements Participate in equipment specification reviews Partner with project teams on electrical and controls integration Review of enterprise electrical and controls standards Partner with Engineering and IT on ICS and cyber security integration as required Act as the site lead for MES/SCADA integrations and remote monitoring as required (Factory Talk, Plex, Ignition) Electrical panel building and design Qualifications: 2-year Associates degree in electrical technologies or equivalent experience Certified Allen Bradley technician (Is very desirable) (Training to attain is will be provided)4 years of industrial automation experience in a manufacturing and distribution environment preferred. Programming experience desired. Allen-Bradley systems experience including, but not limited to, Rockwell Factory Talk suite of software, Logix platform, and proficient understanding of Allen-Bradley industrial networks. Experience developing process control strategies, architectures and PLC programs is required. Experience with Allen-Bradley variable speed drives. Possess good understanding of computer and industrial networks. Ability to read, speak clearly, and understand detailed written and verbal instructions given in English. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference, and volume and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations. Must be able to follow standardized written directions. Must demonstrate ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to produce passing grade on written HACCP examination; must demonstrate adherence to HACCP standards in daily performance. Required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and smell. Frequently required to sit and talk or hear. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Must have specific vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have or be able to obtain a passport.
