Leveraging their sister company's specialization in social media, they offer a seamless integration of IT and digital marketing solutions.   This is a great work from home opportunity to be part of a company that is committed to making a real difference in the IT world.   Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role: Our client, a collective of dedicated IT professionals, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to enhance their sales process. They specialized in offering a variety of IT solutions, ranging from hardware provision to comprehensive IT services, and are looking for an individual to assist in these areas.   Duties and Responsibilities: End-to-end sales encompass everything from lead generation and re-engaging dormant accounts to delivering presentations, closing deals, and following up with customers post-sale.

  • Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to provide accurate quotes and estimates for hardware and eventually IT services.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors to ensure solutions are aptly suited to client needs. This includes timely follow-ups and maintaining strong vendor relationships. –
  • Problem-Solving: Address and pre-emptively identify issues such as item compatibility or solution modifications. A proactive approach is essential to prevent problems before they arise.
  • Sales Relationship Management: Re-engage dormant sales relationships, keeping a keen eye on potential opportunities for business growth.
  • Content Management: Regularly update product listings and information on our website.
  • Sales Training: Stay informed about the various hardware and solutions we offer and impart this knowledge through sales training sessions.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptionally manage renewal dates and client follow-ups, ensuring that all solutions are delivered on schedule.
Requirements · We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3-4 years of IT sales experience, ideally specializing in hardware sales (which is highly advantageous), IT solutions, and software sales. A combination of experience in these areas would be ideal. · Highly advantageous: With more than 5 years of IT Sales experience. · Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Has the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. · Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and initiative. · Is a strong communicator, both written and verbally. · Is committed to maintaining high standards in client service and vendor relations. · Driven by a strong personal initiative and a keen ambition to influence the business sector with innovative technology solutions. · A natural flair for fostering relationships, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for engaging and connecting with clients.
