Senior System Administrator - Azure

My client is growing rapidly and is currently looking to hire an Azure SysAdmin to join their team. This is a new role, working on a very interesting new API-first SaaS product with a great agile team around you. They are building a best of breed, modular, flexible booking engine and are putting together a strong team to realise this. They are looking for a passionate cloud Sys Admin who thrives crafting simple, scalable solutions and who can work within a team but also is able to work off their own initiative. Working in Agile. Key to the role will be managing Test, UAT and Production environments on Azure Cloud infrastructure. Experience in cloud infrastructure deployments, monitoring and alerting will also be essential to success. In this role you will be working on a platform that already has some of the largest manufacturers in the world on it, finding technical solutions, ensuring 24×7 uptime and contributing directly to the day to day car sharing experience of tens of thousands of people around the world. Must-haves:
- Extensive experience with Azure Cloud components
- Experience with Azure Front Door, API Managers, Load balancers
- Experience with Alerting and Monitoring procedures, creating real-time alerting and monitoring dashboards
- Some experience with self-healing protocols and issue resolution would be advantageous
- Experience with globally available SaaS platforms and the 24×7 uptime requirements they have
- Incident Management experience
- Ability to analyse problems and create solutions
