Leveraging your senior leadership experience and expertise in category management, you will drive strategic initiatives to expand our product offerings, optimize supplier relationships, and enhance the overall customer experience.(Some of) What you will be doing:Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive growth and profitability across electronics, pharmacy, flowers, and lifestyle beauty categories.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and agreements to ensure a diverse and high-quality product assortment.Identify opportunities to expand our product portfolio within each category, staying abreast of market trends and customer preferences.Implement pricing and promotional strategies to maximize revenue and profitability, monitoring performance metrics and making data-driven decisions to drive business outcomes.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and technology to ensure seamless integration and execution of marketplace initiatives.Lead and mentor a team of category managers and analysts, providing guidance and support to drive professional development and achieve departmental goals.Conduct regular performance reviews and analysis of category performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards across all product categories, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and trust.Attitude matters most but do you have any of theseBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.7-8 years of experience in e-commerce, retail, or marketplace management, with a focus on category leadership and growth.Proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive revenue and profitability.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of the Gulf market and consumer preferences preferred.
