PositionThe Division of Information andComputing Technology at the College of Science and Engineering(CSE), HBKU, is seeking applications for faculty positions in therank of Assistant Professor. Particular emphasis is on candidateswith a background in one or more of the following areas: ArtificialIntelligence, Cyber Security, and Integrated Circuit Design.HBKUfaculty benefit from superb research facilities, generous researchfunding, and internationally competitive salaries. Facultyresponsibilities will include teaching courses in the undergraduateand graduate programs, supervising student research, conductingoriginal scholarly research on related topics, and providingservice to the university and the profession.Minimum Knowledge,Skills & Experience• Ph.D. or terminal degree froman accredited university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,Electrical Engineering, or related fields.• 2-5 years ofrelevant full-time university teaching experience in research,higher education, or closely related areas in the industry(additional experience may be required to show equivalency), withevidence of increasing professional maturity andproductivity.• Good evidence of proficiency in teaching,student supervision, and curriculum and programdevelopment.• Research and scholarly achievements deemedcompetent and adequate for the rank of Associate Professor incomparison with peers active in the same field at major researchuniversities.• Good evidence of participation in thescholarly and academic affairs of a university or other appropriateorganization, or in an appropriate professional society ororganization.• A growing portfolio of scholarly endeavors(funded research grants, publications, IP/patents, etc.) incomparison with peers active in the same field at a major researchuniversity.• Good evidence for an increasing regional andinternational reputation in the scholarly discipline.•Ability to work with and include diverse groups, cultures, andcommunities.• Participation in developing networks andcollaboration within HBKU, and with program partners and branchcampuses in both teaching and research activities.How To ApplyToapply, please follow this linkAdditional documents may be solicitedfrom short-listed candidates.DeadlineApplications will be reviewedimmediately and continue on a rolling basis until the position isfilled.
