At Yara Farming SolutionsEurope we aim to leverage Yaras digital product and commercialportfolio with data and insights on soil health regenerativefarming practices and information around the farmer and fields.Join us in the digital transformation of the agriculture industryto achieve Yaras goal to responsibly feed this world and protecttheplanet.ResponsibilitiesDesignand build data pipelines to collect manage and store data acrossdifferent solutions and tools where the data resides for the YEUteams.Organize and manage data of diversetypes and variety of sources.Mentor juniormembers in the team by providing them with guidance and feedback ontheir work. (pair programming code reviewetc.)Work with the Lead DE to implementstandards and best practices.Take part inarchitectural reviews along with other senior members in the teamand own architectural decisions with respect to solutions youdeliver.Actively contribute to solving dataproblems for YEU needs.Enable downstreamfunctionalities such as data analytics and businessintelligence.ProfileAtleast 4 years of experience in data engineering machine learningengineering or a data architect roleExcellentknowledge in database systems and data modelling and datawarehousing conceptsExtensive experience withPython (or Java/Scala) & SQLHands onexperience working on Cloud Infrastructure(AWS)Handson experience withSparkHands on with the tools that we use GitDocker Airflow and RedshiftExperience withKubernetes and CI/CD &TerraformExperience with DBT is aplusKnowledge in scalable applicationarchitectureHave a growth mindset and able toproactively identify and solve problems.Strongpersonal/professional interest in the LSM segments (developingcountries lowincome markets etc.) and agriculture ingeneral.Aligned with our principles: agilecustomercentric lean serviceoriented architecture selforganizationtransparency.Experience using Customer DataPlatform for data integrations is aplus.This job has beensourced from an external job board.More jobson
