Job details
Provide technical guidance andformulate procedures for all company divisions regarding fireprevention and process safety engineering, encompassing facilitiesdesign and relevant operational requisites. This includes adherenceto both company and international standards such as NFPA andAPI.Conduct thorough reviews of new projectsto ensure alignment with company and international engineeringstandards. Represent the organization during project proposalmeetings and offer continuous guidance through design,construction, and commissioning phases.Extendcompany-wide technical support during design-related evaluations ofThis Company facilities. This involves assessing the adequacy ofdesign, operations, and maintenanceprocedures.Analyze both industry-wide and ThisCompany-specific fire incidents and process safety events.Determine root causes and assess whether updates to companystandards or other measures are necessary. Propose remedial actionsas appropriate.Initiate and actively engage instudies aimed at resolving specific challenges that lie beyondcurrently available technologicalsolutions.Develop comprehensive trainingprograms focusing on process safety and fire preventionengineering. Provide training assistance as required to enhance theorganization's skillset in thesedomains.Apply risk analysis techniques toidentify potential corporate risk exposure and devise pragmatic,cost-effective solutions.Collaborate inconducting surveys of This Company operations conducted byinsurance, governmental bodies, and external agencies. Serve as thecompany's authority on fire prevention engineeringstandards.Assume a mentoring role, providingguidance and knowledge transfer to fellow LPpersonnel.
