It is headquartered inMumbai.JobTitle: Service Center -OperationsFunction:RegionalBusinessReportingto: Branch Operations Head/ Area OperationsHead1.Purpose: Responsible for ensuring timely, accurateand profitable delivery of shipments to customers through effectivemanagement of all inbound operations at the ServiceCenter.2.KeyResponsibilities:OperationalEnsureadherence to the operational workflows and standard operatingprocedures(SOPs)defined for service center inboundoperationsMonitor thedaily in-scanand anout-scan ofshipments and relatedpaperworkCheckpre-alerts to track daily loads at the service centers and plandelivery schedulesaccordinglyConduct daily staffbriefings, including communication regarding any operationalchanges, route changes, etc.Check and handover delivery sheets to the delivery staffEnsure safe, timely, andprofitable delivery of shipments to customers and reduce instancesof undelivered shipments, RTOs,etc.Handle allexception cases at the service center and communicate the same toHubs, Origins, and Customer Services forresolutionFollow upwith the origin for non-delivery exceptions and alternateinstructions; On a daily basis recheck exceptions ofthe previous day and ensure follow-up of thesameEnsure safe handling of all shipments atthe service center and report any damaged cases to theoriginHandle security exceptionsin the service center along with the securityteamConduct regular audits ofdeliveries and status update to ensure the correctness ofinformation flow to clients.Monitor expensesby way of adherence to vehicle log checks daily and ensure timelyreimbursement of fuel conveyance expenses to staff/PDA.Ensure daily updation, allocation, andcollection of OTM machines fordeliveries.Collect COD cash collected by thedelivery staff, cross-check the same with the delivery sheet, andsubmit the same to the branch cashier.Monitorthe performance of staff in the Service Centre and ensure theconduct of training for regular staff, PDAs, etc. in line with thetraining programs designedcentrally.Ensure adequate manningin terms of full-time employees, PDAs,etc.Generate andmaintain MIS related to the servicecenter.PeopleProvidedirection, guidance, and support to employees to help themdischarge their dutieseffectively.Qualification&Requirement:Musthave a minimum of 2 years of experience inLogistics.Shouldbe experienced in managing heavy loads, First Mileand Last Mile flooroperations.Must be aGraduate.Shouldbe from Mumbai and Mumbai Suburban areas.Musthave excellent communication skillsand fluency inEnglish.Skills : excellent communication skills and fluency inenglish,first mile,last mile operations
